Mobey Forum – Creating the Future of Mobile Financial Services

Mobey Forum is a global non-profit organisation, driven by the finance industry. We promote secure and convenient mobile banking and payment services. Our mission is to facilitate banks to offer mobile financial services by creating sustainable business models through cross-industry collaboration.

Mobey Forum organizes four two-day Plenary Workshops per year, each specially designed to address the most challenging current issues, facilitated by recognized leaders within the industry. Our Workshops are highly interactive with opportunities for strategic learning, networking and sharing of peer experiences. Additionally Mobey fosters ongoing Workgroups and Task Forces in order to promote the exchange of expertise, insight and solutions.

Mobey Forum is a global organisation with more than 50 member companies, each an important player in the mobile financial services ecosystem. Mobey Forum members include leading financial institutions, mobile handset manufacturers, telecom operators, payment processors as well as leading technology vendors and other companies actively involved in mobile financial services. The GSM Association (GSMA) is the global trade group representing more than 750 GSM mobile operators across 218 countries and territories of the world. The Association's members represent more than 3 billion GSM and 3GSM connections - over 86% of the world's mobile phone connections. In addition, more than 200 manufacturers and suppliers support the Association's initiatives.

The primary goals of the GSMA are to ensure mobile phones and wireless services work globally and are easily accessible, enhancing their value to individual customers and national economies, while creating new business opportunities for operators and their suppliers.
